in a district town that belongs to the district Pariaman-Sumbar, 

I entered a stall ‘Kopi Rakyat’. Many people in this shop. 

They are involved in the sophist or ‘Obrolan warung kopi’. certainly in the local language

I understand what they are talking about .

 But my tongue when it was still a bit stiff to speak in the language Minangkabau

 (dengan dialek Pariaman pula). Therefore , I am not trying to come to argue ‘kusir’ with them .

Apparently I did not join in their conversation , making them less happy. 

They think I am a person ‘Minang’ who can’t get along . 

And I started to hear some insinuation that indicated to me .

 One of them spoke , in Minang language , which means : 

“Kalau kita berada di kandang harimau, harus pandai mengaum. 

Kalau berada di dalam kandang kambing, harus pandai mengembik.”

Then came the sound of laughter small . I remained silent , while enjoying my coffee .

Then came again satire : " If a man be shy , affairs of an hour could be two hours . "

I was shocked. Not because they are offended by the insinuation. 

But I get something out of their speech . Should I ponder.

Once they know that I am not the Minangkabau , then they were friendly to me . 

And they do not think I'm arrogant or shy anymore .

But the words of one of them before, ringing in my ears kept .

I admit the truth of their words . A shy, basically have hampered their own pace . 

Not just slow down . Sometimes so severe , so a shy can’t achieve something that should be his.

Shy synonymous with low self-esteem . And I 'm sure , so many people who have a sense of the kind. It is not an easy task , to repel such feelings . 

Some of the problems faced by people shy , less articulate , did not dare to express opinions , always afraid of making mistakes are embarrassing , worry , anxiety and so on , which causes them to feel inferior and do not have confidence in himself .

Whoever does not have to cower by the pressure of his own feelings .
